We had a new computer, and I’m impressed. There are a few quarks in Vista Windows that I do not like, but I love the speed of this new computer. The Internet is always there, and works like a computer should work.

The Word program works very similar to the old one, but now it doesn’t crash. However I lost all my old files, but my entire membership list were updated on web, so I didn’t lose any of the important stuff.

But, it’s take me a little longer to set up my files and restart doing newsletters. But, if I just do one thing at a time, it will get easier.

Cordelia let me know that she had to postpone her trip to Kentucky because of weather. Now, since someone in Louisiana just won the Jack Pot, it was okay with me.

Now I update the upcoming games, and you see where Louisiana Power Ball game is listed first. I need the money for that game before I would need money for Kentucky Power Ball. Kentucky will start before Louisiana, but Barbara is leaving before Cordelia on her trip.

I have to give Barbara money for Louisiana Power Ball Pool – Game Four by Saturday January 26th, 2008.

Age Guessing

Three old mischievous Grandmas were sitting on a bench outside a nursing home. About then an old Grandpa walked by, and one of the old Grandma's yelled out saying, "We bet we can tell exactly how old you are."

The old man said, "There ain't no way you can guess it, you old fools."

One of the old Grandmas said, "Sure we can! Just drop your pants and shorts and we can tell your exact age."

Embarrassed just a little, but anxious to prove they couldn't do it, he dropped his drawers.

The Grandmas asked him to first turn around a couple of times and to jump up and down several times. Then they all piped up and said, "You're 87 years old!"

Standing with his pants down around his ankles, the old gent asked, “How in the world did you guess?"

Slapping their knees and grinning from ear to ear, all three old ladies happily yelled in unison -- "We were at your birthday party yesterday!"
