I’m sorry to tell you we won nothing on our last drawing. All of our original tickets to this game expired after last night’s drawing.

But, like our 13-Week Pennsylvania Power Ball Lottery Pool – Game Two, and Louisiana Power Ball Lottery Pool – Game Two, we won money.

We have more options. I plan on sending out our winning tickets to the Louisiana Lottery Corporation for redemption. I have to send out a claim for my own tickets and for the J & M Lottery Pool, so I might as well send these off too.

Now you have the following Options:

Option One: Send $20.00 with Barbara Sykes to New Orleans, and get this game 1 line for 20 draws. Use the $1.00 for a Cash Five ticket.

Option Two: Send $15.00 to my Step-Mother, Beth Porter and have her get us 1 15 draw Missouri Power Ball ticket, use the $6.00 to buy us 1 Cash Five for 6 drawings.

Option Three: Buy 3 lines in Mega Millions for 7 drawings. On Tuesday, January 22^nd, 2008 the Jack Pot is worth $51 Million. The Cash Option is $31,700,000.00. With only 10 shares issued in the this group, this may NOT be a bad idea, since it will be another 2.5 weeks before Barbara leaves for New Orleans. If we should win on Tuesday, each of us would get at least $1.5 Million. (Some people purchased ½ share in this game.)

The only disadvantage is that Fort Worth, Texas won the last Mega Million. But, I could ask Juanita to buy us a 10 draw ticket in Ohio, or even send Renato Perez in California to buy us one 20 draw ticket.

Now I really don’t have a preference, okay that is a lie, I think me buying us 3 lines for 7 draws puts our money to work immediately. After all we could $150.00 on a line before Barbara leaves for New Orleans. But, then again, as we all know, it’s only a lottery and I have no way of knowing what the numbers will be come Tuesday Night.

Now if you want me to do Option Three, you will need to e-mail me immediately and I can buy tickets tomorrow, scan them and shoot out another newsletter (yes, I like this new computer!)

1. Louisiana Power Ball – Game Four – The cost of this game is $20.00 per share. Barbara A. Sykes will be leaving for New Orleans Tuesday January 29^th, 2008. She is going down for Mardi Gras. She will return to Dallas, Texas on Friday, February 8^th, 2008. Our first drawing will be on Saturday February 9^th, 2008. If you would like to play in this game, I would need your money by Saturday January 26^th, 2008.

2. Kentucky Power Ball – Game One – Cost is $26.00 per share. 1^st Drawing should be Wednesday February 6th, 2007. Cordelia R. McGegor will be leaving for Kentucky on Thursday January 31st, 2008. I will be instructing her to buy our tickets before leaving Kentucky on Tuesday, February 5^th, 2008. If you would like to play in this game, you need to have your money to me no later than Thursday, January 31st, 2008.

A Poisonous Wife

A man goes to see his Rabbi.

"Rabbi, something terrible is happening and I have to talk to you about it."

The Rabbi asks, "What's wrong?"

The man replied, "My wife is poisoning me."

The Rabbi, very surprised by this, asks, "How can that be?"

The man then pleads, "I'm telling you I'm certain she's poisoning me, what I should do?” The Rabbi then offers, "Tell you what. Let me talk to her, I'll see what I can find out and I'll let you know."
