RE: 1st Newsletter

Welcome to the 39th Edition of the Mega Millions Lottery Pool. Today’s saying: Better Late than Never.

I will apologize for next to the last time for me not have a computer for so long. (I still have to do Die Hard’s Newsletter and they get my last apology.)

Because of my computer outage, and it being Christmas Time, my membership list when down.

Game 38 is playing right along with you, they had won money and I purchase them 1 line for 10 draws, and they still have $1.00 in their bank. That game had 46 members, and had $480.00 in their pot.

This game is slightly smaller; we only have 42 members, with $440.00 in our pot.

Normally, I would never start a game with me being without a computer, or my computer being down. I would have just extended Game 38 and waited until it died, before launching Game 39.

However, when I started this game on December 11th, 2007, the Jack Pot was sitting at $115.00, and I was NOT going to sit on a Jack Pot that high with $440.00 in an envelope.

But if anyone had told me that Texas would NOT win, then I would have waited.

On your second draw the Jack Pot rose to $137 Million. Then on your third draw the Jack Pot was $163.00 Million, and two people claimed that prize, in two different states – Texas NOT one of them.

When we got another computer, I chose to bring all my other pools current, and take my time, and not stay up until 4:00 p.m. I make too many mistakes doing that. So my goal was to be current by January 1st, 2007, and I think I will either make it, or exceed my goal. I just have one more game to bring current after printing this newsletter.

I did lose 10 people from last game to this game, and that is common for me during this time of the season. But, I did get a bunch of people who rejoined and several new people.

Now, normally, this is where I tell you how I play this game. But, I just checked the membership list, and the only people I have that are NEW are 1 infant (he doesn’t speak English – Or Spanish for that matter) and his father, Uriel Cruz. Then I have Justin Griffin, who works with me, and this share was my Christmas gift to him.

We do have two Father & Sons with us. Joseph Mooney & his son, Trinity has played with us before. Uriel Cruz and his son, Uriel Cruz, Jr. is their first time. Now, Uriel, Jr. wasn’t even born yet when this game started.

I started this game on Tuesday, December 11th, 2007. Uriel, Jr., was expected to enter this world on Monday December 31st, 2007.

Now babies seldom are ever born on their due dates, and Uriel, Jr. came on 12-13-2007. (I’ve attached his picture with this newsletter.)

So I will not bore my members with the rules and regulations of how this pool operates. (Trust me; while it is time consuming, it’s not Rocket Science.)

Any of you can just ask me a question, and I will answer. Basically, I took the $440.00, purchased 22 lines for 10 draws. You will play on the same 22 lines for the remainder of this game.

Normally, you have gotten this newsletter with copies of your tickets before the 1st drawing. And that is always exciting because you believe you could win. Well, this is now retrospecting, and it’s not quit as trilling to me. I know the Big Jack Pot was won, and it’s going back up.

Mega Millions is NOT Power Ball. Power Ball starts at $15 Million and after 8 draws it’s over $100 Million. While Mega Millions does get bigger than Power Ball all the time, it just takes her a littler longer.

Normally, Mac Almond, in Austin, Texas works up a spreadsheet for each game he plays in. Well, if Mac doesn’t want to do a spreadsheet for this game, I will not expect him to so. 1) Your game is already half over. You will have to 5th drawing tonight. 2) The Jack Pot is tiny, and will still be small when this game ends.

Now your 5th drawing is tonight, I work tomorrow and will be passing out newsletters. Please do not ask me if we won. I won’t know, you have tickets attached to this newsletter, check the tickets yourself. I will check them on the way home from work.

This game has few Quick Picks. I was trying to reuse the numbers from Game 38, but I didn’t have access to them. When I collected the winnings from that game, I wasn’t given back the tickets (that is common).

But, I did have a stack of old tickets from Games 33, 34, 35, Die Hard Multi-Lottery Pool, and even J & M Lotto Pool. I checked the Texas Lottery Web site: www.txlottery.org and found the frequently drawn numbers.

I used every old number that that Mega Balls that had not been drawn in a long time. Now, I’ve done this before and that group cashed in big time, but still no Jack Pot win.

Now, I would like for any of my groups win a Jack Pot Lottery, when the Cash Option equals to $1 Million to be paid to each of my members who purchased one share. And that is NOT an easy feat.

The group has 44 shares issued in it, which means the Cash Option would need to be 44 Million, which means the Jack Pot would be over $80 Million.

We are not quite there yet.

Here is your payout if we should win tonight. The Jack Pot for the drawing on Friday, December 28th, 2007 is worth $25 Million. The Cash Option is worth $15,300,000.00. This group contains 44 shares. So I will divide the $15.3 Million by 44 and the pay out would like this (the amount is before any attorney fees, taxes or tithes):

Shares Purchased

Amount you could Win.

.5

$173,863.63

1

$347,727.27

1.5

$521,590.90

2

$695,454.54

3.5

$1,217,045.44

Now here is my prayer, and I hope you will pray in agreement with me: I would love to report to you wins on every one of our last five drawings. I would love to see us win $440.00 or more, where I could recast this game for another 10 drawings. Now that is considering I have no New Members playing in Game 40.

I want you to win when the Jack Pot is over $90 Million. But, we need to start winning some bucks tonight.

Good Luck in tonight’s drawings, copies of your tickets and Uriel Cruz, Jr., and embedded into this newsletter.
