Quote of the Day

I am so grateful to have a computer back, very very thankful. But, guys, I’m so far behind you would not believe it. But I’ve slowly been bringing myself current.
I did not mean to make you last on my updating my games, but understand the J & M Lottery Pool had not gotten an update since 11/25/2007. I started with them first.
I was able to close the Pennsylvania Power Ball Lottery Pool – Game one and Louisiana Power Ball Pool – Game One.
Louisiana Power Ball Pool – Game Two and Three have prized money pending, so both of those games will continue in the New Year.
While my computer was down you continued to win, see below:

When your tickets expired, you still had $21.00 in your pot. I spend $20.00 of your money on one more line for 10 more drawings. My only mistake was megaplying your ticket. The Jack Pot was high when I purchase this ticket and in retrospect I should have purchased you 2 lines for $20.00.
Now Mac’s spreadsheet is slightly wrong, he is showing I spend $21.00 on 12/11/2007, but I only spend $20.00, so you still have $1.00 in your pot.
I will, once again, extend this game after your final drawing on January 11th, 2008 with any wins you might have on this ticket, pulse your $1.00 win.
I spend $40.00 of your $41.00 wins to you can have 10 more lines for the last two drawings.

Our next drawing is on Friday, December 27th, 2007. The Jack Pot is worth $25 Million. The Cash Option is $15,300,000.00. We had 48 shares issued in this game. This is what you could win before any attorney fee’s, taxes or tithes:

Now, it’s too late to get into Game 39, I started that game on December 11th, 2007. They had $440.00 in the pool, and so far have one nothing. Okay, I’ve not checked Tuesday’s wins, but hopefully, I can do that before going to work this morning.
I’m off on Friday, and they are my next update. But, you still have time to get in on any or all of the games you see below:

After Christmas
================

'Twas the week after Christmas, and all through the house
Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.
The cookies I'd nibbled, the eggnog I'd taste
At the holiday parties had gone to my waist.

When I got on the scales there arose such a number!
When I walked to the store (less a walk than a lumber).

I'd remember the marvelous meals I'd prepared;
The gravies and sauces and beef nicely rared,

The wine and the rum balls, the bread and the cheese
And the way I'd never said, "No thank you, please."

As I dressed myself in my husband's old shirt
And prepared once again to do battle with dirt

I said to myself, as I only can
"You can't spend a winter disguised as a man!"

So away with the last of the sour cream dip,
Get rid of the fruit cake, every cracker and chip

Every last bit of food that I like must be banished
"Till all the additional ounces have vanished.

I won't have a cookie - not even a lick.
I'll want only to chew on a long celery stick.

I won't have hot biscuits, or corn bread, or pie,
I'll munch on a carrot and quietly cry.

I'm hungry, I'm lonesome, and life is a bore
But isn't that what January is for?

Unable to giggle, no longer a riot.
Happy New Year to all and to all a good diet!
