TWO HORSES

Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each looks like every other horse. But if you stop your car, or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing.

Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing.

If nearby and listening, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking
around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the
smaller horse in the field. Attached to her halter is a small bell. It
lets her blind friend know where she is, so he can follow her.

As you stand and watch these two friends, you'll see how she is always
checking on him, and that he will listen for her bell and then slowly
walk to where she is, trusting that she will not lead him astray.

When she returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, she stops
occasionally and looks back, making sure her friend isn't too far
behind to hear the bell.

Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just
because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges.
He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us
when we are in need.

Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing
bell of those who God places in our lives. Other times we are the guide
horse, helping others see.

Good friends are like this. You don't always see them, but you know
they are always there.

Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours

Mega Millions Jackpot Winner! There were 4 jackpot winners in the Friday, August 31, 2007 Mega Millions drawing: 1 from Maryland, 1 from New Jersey, 1 from Texas, and 1 from Virginia. The winners will equally share the $330 million jackpot prize.

I knew this Jack Pot would not reach $400 Million, does it ever? And I knew that more than one person would win, because that always happens when this Jack Pot claims to over $275 Million.

Now believe it or not Mega Millions Lottery Pool – Game 35 didn’t win a dime in Friday’s Night’s drawing, now that shocked me. They have won in every drawing since I extended the game.

This game won Zero in Friday’s drawing, too! And, yes, I was disappointed, if we couldn’t have had the Jack Pot, could we not at least win $250,000.00.

The Jack Pot for Tuesday, September 4th, 2007 is worth $12 Million. The Cash Option is worth $7,000,000.00. Here is what your payout would look like if we should win Tuesday Night:

Shares Purchased

Amount you could win.

$77,377.77

1

$155,555.55

1.5

$233,333.33

2

$855,555.55

$855,555.55

Well, you’re down to 3 more drawings. If you had any more wins, I will extend this game after the final drawing on Tuesday, September 11th, 2007.

Since I have rejoins in Game 37, I’m not sure that I will be able to extend the start date, but I may try, so we can play when the Jack Pot is higher, but to be on the safe side, you should have your money to me no later than Tuesday September 11th, 2007.

I’ve had several people who paid me for several games ahead, so I’m attaching all the membership lists that have changes on them.

Special Notice:

Lotto Texas Lottery Pool – Game Eight starts on Saturday September 15th, 2007. If you wish to play in that game, it’s run identical to the Mega Millions Game. The cost is $10.00 per share, and I do allow people to buy ½ shares.

If you want to play in Lotto Texas Lottery Pool – Game Eight, you will need to have your money to me no later than Wednesday, September 12th, 2007.

I have right now a Power Ball Pool. We purchased the tickets from Pennsylvania. Now this current game is closed, and they have the last drawing on October 3rd, 2007.

Juanita Brown, will be going back to Pennsylvania to pick up our winnings and purchased tickets for the 13 Week Pennsylvania Power Ball Pool – Game Two.

The cost for the Power Ball Pool is $26.00 per share, and I will accept ½ shares in this game.

Now 13 weeks is 3 months and 1 week, so the game is long. The good thing about Power Ball is it goes up very fast. The Jack Pot was just won and started over at $15 Million, and then rose to $20 Million. The current Jack Pot is now at $29 Million. If no one wins in on Wednesday, it could easily get to $40 Million by Saturday. See www.powerball.com

If you wish to play in this pool, you will need to have your money to me no later than September 20th, 2007.

Pepsi & Divorce

A man and his wife were getting a divorce at a local court but, the custody of their children posed a problem.

The mother jumped to her feet and protested to the judge that since she had brought the children into this world, she should retain custody of them.

The man also wanted custody of his children, so the judge asked for his side of the story.

After a long moment of silence, the man rose from his chair and replied "Judge, when I put a dollar into a vending machine, and a Pepsi comes out, does the Pepsi belong to me or to the machine?"

Don't laugh, he won!
