Here we go again. Or “Play it again, Sam.” Well, most anything works here, because all of you have either played in the last game, or played in a previous game of Lotto Texas.

I’m going to be honest with you; I’m losing faith with this game. It seems we play and play and play, but never win.

The good news is that no one has won this for awhile, and the Jack Pot is at $26 Million! So, I look for a winner anytime.

For seven games, I have tried everything, I picked “hot” numbers, “cold” numbers, I’ve picked every number, and picked only even numbers, but nothing comes up as a winning combination. So for this game, I opted to do only Quick Picks. And since the Jack Pot is so high, I am going to continue doing Quick Picks, if we should win any small amounts.

This game is played just like my Mega Millions Game, so if we win anything, other than the Jack Pot, I will be collecting the money and buying more tickets. But, don’t get your hopes up, because even if we get 3 numbers out of six, we only get $3.00.

While we have no New Members we have two people who have rejoined playing with us. Let’s welcome back Kevin Redelsperger and Cordeila McGregor. Maybe one of them will bring us luck.

Tonight is your first game. I sold 15 shares in this game for $10.00 per share, and I did permit people to purchase ½ shares. So I had $150 to spend today, and I could not use the Lotto Texas Kiosk. The damn thing said: “Cash Box Full, see clerk for assistance.”

The clerk told me the machine is always not working. And then she smiled. I am sure she knew who I was, and thought I would appreciate the joke.

But losing that Mega Million Ticket in their machine, was not and still is not funny to me.

Now in this game, all the numbers look the same to me. I can’t tell good numbers from bad numbers. But, at lease we have 15 lines in tonight’s drawing.

The Cash Option is worth $15,900,000.00. Here is what you will win (before any attorney fees, taxes or tithes).

Shares Purchased

Amount you could win

.5

$530,000.00

In a little over two hours you will know if you have won. I did purchase these tickets today (Saturday September 15th, 2007) at the Kroger on Cedar Springs.

Is there a Doctor in the House?

In a darkened theater, a strained voice called out through the darkened theater, "Please, is there a doctor in the house?!"

Several men stood up as the lights came on.

An older lady pulled her daughter to stand next to her, "Good, are any of you doctors single and interested in a date with a nice, Jewish girl?"
