As you know we purchased $80.00 in single draw tickets for the drawing in Mega Millions Lottery Pool on Friday, August 31^st, 2007.

That Jack Pot was worth $330,000,000.00! There were four winning tickets. Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, and Texas each had a winner in their state. Texas ticket was sold at a Kroger, in Houston.

This game sets it new Jack Pot back to $12 Million. The Cash Option is worth $7,000,000.00. This game is played on Tuesday’s and Friday’s.

We didn’t win the Jack Pot, but we won $16.00. I thought I would turn this game into a Multi-draw game. So I purchased you two lines for 6 draws, and 1 line for 10 draws. (Your tickets are attached, and you will see where you have 1 10-draw ticket and 1 6-draw ticket.)

Normally, I would have dropped all your money on one draw, and I would have done that if no one had won the Jack Pot. But, who wants to waste $16.00 on a $12 Million Lottery. Besides we only need one line to win.

We had $80.00 in our original pool. Abu and I sold this game base on $5.00 per share. Most of you paid for 1 share; there were two people who purchased 2 shares. They paid $10.00.

There are 16 shares issued in this game, and in the event we should win in the next 10 drawings, I will divide the Cash Option by 16 to determine everyone’s share. If we should win Tuesday Night, here is what the payout would be (not including any attorney fees, taxes, or tithes).

Now I promise you that I will give you at least one update a week. Since I scheduled myself to work in September, Sunday thru Thursday, I most likely will do your updates on Saturday.

If you have e-mail, you will get these updates via e-mail, if I don’t have you e-mail address or I don’t have it, then you will get paper copies.

I’ve attached you membership list, and it’s also available on the web, see the top of your newsletter.

I want you to know this will be run just like my other pools, so any money we win, will go back into the pot. However, unlike my other pools, I most likely will have your stop date on Friday October 5^th, 2007. So if you win any money on Tuesday’s drawing, I will only buy tickets up to that date. So that means I would buy you one ticket up to 9 drawings.

Now most of you play with me in one of my other pools. But, I do have one new member who has never played in a lottery pool before, hence the reason I went into detail.

These games are coming up, so see me if you would like to play.

1. Mega Millions Lottery Pool – Game 37, right now this start date is Friday, September 14th, 2007. However the Jack Pot is low, and I have Game 35 and Game 36 both running, so I could delay the opening of this game by one week. The cost is $10.00 per share, and I will sell ½ shares in this game.

2. Lotto Texas Lottery Pool – Game Eight starts on Saturday September 15^th, 2007. If you wish to play in that game, it’s run identical to the Mega Millions Game. The cost is $10.00 per share, and I do allow people to buy ½ shares.

If you want to play in Lotto Texas Lottery Pool – Game Eight, you will need to have your money to me no later than Wednesday, September 12^th, 2007. The same goes for Mega Millions Lottery Pool – Game 37.

3. 13-Week Pennsylvania Power Ball Pool – Game Two. I have right now a Power Ball Pool. We purchased the tickets from Pennsylvania. This current game is closed, and they have the last drawing on October 3^rd, 2007.

Juanita Brown, will be going back to Pennsylvania to pick up our winnings and purchased tickets for the 13 Week Pennsylvania Power Ball Pool – Game Two.

The cost for the Power Ball Pool is $26.00 per share, and I will accept ½ shares in this game.

13 weeks is 3 months and 1 week, so the game is long. The good thing about Power Ball is it goes up very fast. The Jack Pot was just won and started over at $15 Million, and then rose to $20 Million. The current Jack Pot is now at $29 Million. If no one wins in on Wednesday, it could easily get to $40 Million by Saturday. See www.powerball.com

Church Bulletin Bloopers

This being Easter Sunday, we will ask Mrs. Lewis to come forward and lay an egg on the altar.

The service will close with "Little Drops of Water." One of the ladies will start quietly and the rest of the congregation will join in.

Next Sunday a special collection will be taken to defray the cost of the new carpet. All those wishing to do something on the new carpet will come forward and do so.

The pastor will preach his farewell message, after which the choir will sing, "Break Forth Into Joy."

During the absence of our pastor, we enjoyed the rare privilege of hearing a good sermon when J.F. Stubbs supplied our pulpit.
