RE: 27th Newsletter

Today's thought is:

Words are the voice of the heart.
- Confucius

What does my heart have to say today? Am I happy? Or am I troubled? We will find this out if we slow down and listen to our words. We can also hear our spirit in the tone of our words.

We are to meditate. Meditation is about slowing down so we can hear what our spirit is trying to tell us. Meditation is listening. Our spirit is but a quiet whisper inside us. To hear it we must quiet ourselves.

Slowing down allows us to find our center. As we find our center we find our spirit and our Higher Power.

Do I take the time needed to slow myself down? Do I take the time to listen -- to listen to my heart?

Prayer for the Day

Higher Power, teach me to slow down. Teach me to listen. Teach me to hear Your whispers as well as Your yells.

Action for the Day

Today, I will take a half hour to slow down and listen. I will find a place to relax and listen to my heart and my words. You are reading from the book:

Here is Mac’s spreadsheet: http://tinyurl.com/253gxw

Well according to Mac’s Spreadsheet we won nothing in Saturday night’s Power Ball drawing.

But there was another winner, in Louisiana. Now, I won’t bore you with my complaints of me not winning in Power Ball, because I already made known how many lines I have in this state. And got nothing.

So the payout below will not change, the Jack Pot is still at $15 Million. Your next drawing is on Wednesday October 3rd, 2007, the Cash Option remains at $7,000,000.00.

There are 10 shares issued in this game, here is the payout, not including any attorney fees, taxes or tithes:

Juanita is leaving for Pennsylvania this next weekend and redeem or winnings. Her plan right now is to buy 1 line for 23 draws. I’ve not responded to her last e-mail, because I’ve been busy trying to get caught up on Newsletters.

But, I doubt if she will be able to get 23 drawings. I have several play slips for several states. In Louisiana you can play for 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 or 20 draws only. California was very similar; you could buy 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 16, and 20 draws.

It would be nice if we could get some real money that Juanita could pick up and I could extend this game for another 26 draws. But, Ladies and Gentlemen we are at the mercy of the clerks of Pennsylvania.

So I will be extending this game, with whatever Juanita sends me.

Game Two will be starting the Saturday after this game expires, but Juanita will NOT be back from Pennsylvania until after our first drawing, so I will not be able to provide you tickets until the first of the following week.

I sold 11 shares in this game, and I have one paper copy member. So Game two will be a little larger. I’ve attached the membership list for Game Two with this e-mail.

AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES

1. If you are choking on an ice cube simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat. Presto! The blockage will instantly remove itself.

2. Avoid cutting yourself slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold while you chop.

3. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by using the sink.

4. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.

5. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.

6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you will be afraid to cough.

7. You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. I fit doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

8. Remember: Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

Daily Thought: SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES. NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.
