Sorry we won nothing in Tuesday’s drawing. However the most amazing thing, is that no one won the Jack Pot.

I can not believe that this Jack Pot when from $250 Million to $325 Million overnight. $75 Million?

The Jack Pot for Friday, August 31st, 2007 is worth $325 Million. The Cash Option is worth $191,100,000.00. Here is what your payout would look like if we should win Tuesday Night:

Now, I hate to do this, but I checked my membership list, and all my out of town, and out of state members have paid. One of my members who lives in Fort Worth, has already mailed his check, so I should have it by Saturday at the latest.

If there is no Mega Million Winner in Friday Night’s drawing, I will buy tickets for Mega Million Lottery Pool – Game 37 and start that game early. Their first game will start on September 3^rd, 2007.

Now in the even there is a winner in Friday Night’s game, I will delay the opening of Game 37 until both Game 35 and Game 36 have ended.

If you want to be a part of Game 37, you have until Friday, August 31^st, 2007 to get me your money.

Ghost Story - NM style

This happened in a little town in New Mexico, and even though it sounds like an Alfred Hitchcock tale, it's absolutely true:

This guy was on the side of the road hitch hiking on a very dark and stormy night. The night was cold and wet and no cars went by. The storm was so strong; he could hardly see a few feet ahead of him. Suddenly, he saw a car coming towards him and stopped. The guy, without thinking about it, got in the car, closed the door, and only then realized that there was nobody behind the wheel!

The car starts going again, very slowly. The guy looks at the road and sees a curve coming his way. Scared, he starts to pray and begs for his life. Just before the car hits the curve, a hand appears through the window and turns the wheel.

The guy, paralyzed in terror, watched how the hand appeared each time the car approached a curve. Gathering his strength, he gets out of the car and runs all the way to the nearest town. Wet and in shock, he goes into a cantina, asks for two shots of tequila and starts telling everybody about the horrible experience he just went through. A silence enveloped everyone when they realized the guy was crying hysterically and wasn't drunk.

About a half hour later, two other guys walk into the same cantina and one said to the other, "Mira, Pedro. That's the Pendejo that got in the car while we were pushing it!"
