You are not going to believe this, but I have a member who was getting her newsletters via paper, and now she has e-mail. She wants her newsletters e-mail!
So Ms. Margaret R. Boudreaux – You have mail!
You were just added today, so when I see you Monday, you will have some paper copies. I, also, added you to Game 35 mailing list.
Now the bad news it that with 45 lines you didn’t score a single win. None.
The good news is that no one won the Jack Pot Friday Night, so it’s going up.
This game has $450.00 worth of tickets, so your shares in this game total 45.
Here is Mac’s spreadsheet for this game: http://tinyurl.com/2lmurw
The Jack Pot for Tuesday’s nights drawing is worth $122 Million. The Cash Option is worth $70,400,000.00. Here is what your payout would look like if we should win tonight:
| Shares Purchased | Amount you could win. |
| .5 | $762,222.22 |
| 1 | $ 1,564,444.44 |
| 1.5 | $2,346,666.66 |
| 2 | $3,128,888.69 |
| 5.5 | $8,604,444.44 |
Now I realize that Game 36 just got started, but it’s never too late to tell you about my next game. The reason simple, even if I win in this game, I’m going after my second win – immediately.
Game 37 is tentative schedule to start on
That group already has 6 members with $80.00 in the pot. Now please understand this game could be extended if someone wins the Jack Pot. If the Jack Pot starts over at $12 Million, I will begin holding your wins, until the end of the game, then buy more tickets to extend this game.
As long as any of you pay me, this will not change the above plan. However, I if get 1 new member or 1 new rejoin, then I have start the game when I told them it would start.
The reason for this is because you all have tickets, but someone joining I assume have no Mega Million Tickets, so I start the game when this one is over.
Now the question remains, for those of you who pay me late, “What is the last day I can pay to be in the next game?”
The last day you can pay to be in Mega Millions Lottery Pool – Game 37 is
What happened in this game is that I had to extend Game 35, so I had to get their newsletter out. I had to open Lotto Texas Lottery Pool – Game Seven. (And Game Six is still running.)
No one got there newsletter until about 1 before the drawing. It takes time to scan, rename, move scan to correct folder for 45 lines. My games have gotten bigger, and they take longer to set up. Besides scanning I have to create the first newsletter, and then I have to create a mailing list in my e-mail account.
The majority of my members pay me well in advance, thank you all for that, it helps me a great deal. But, I think I have not treated them well, by sending out the first newsletter so late. Getting your tickets 1 hour before the drawing is not good. I have someone helping me with this game by creating a spreadsheet; he should have tickets well before the drawing.
Now I’m easy to work with, so lets say that on Friday September 14th, 2007, I already have all your money because you met the deadline, and I’ve already updated the membership list, the ticket were purchased on Wednesday Morning, or Thursday and they have been scanned. In fact, I have already sent out the first newsletter.
Now it’s still Friday September 14th, 2007, and I leave the house and go to the Post Office, I get four checks from new members, then I go CafĂ© Brazil to eat breakfast, and while I’m figuring how much I am depositing I am talking with other customers, lets just say there are three firemen from the fire station across the street. They want to play, and then a waiter wants to play with us, they all have $10 with them and everyone has e-mail. Will I accept them?
Absolutely, after finishing breakfast I will walk to Bank of America; deposit the checks, then on to Kroger to get another $80 in tickets.
I have no problem updating the membership list with 8 more people and have no problem sending out another e-mail with $80 worth of tickets.
Theses people just met me, they didn’t know about the game until they were having breakfast. The people who mailed me checks, were trying to beat the deadline, and Post Office helped them achieving there goal.
But I have a goal, and you should too! We won the win the Jack Pot. And eight more people means $80 more to the pot, $80 more to the Pot, means more tickets for the group. More tickets for the group means more chances to win!
I would like for all of us to be of one mind, and pray and hope that we are next Mega Million Winners.
Where Was Jesus Born?
A lifelong unchurched man suddenly develops a vague religious urge and decides to join a church--any church. So he sets out to find one.
His first stop is a Roman Catholic Church where he asks what he has to do to join. The priest mentions diligent study and the affirmation of the Nicene and Apostles' Creeds, then--just to see how much the man knows--asks him where Jesus was born.
"
"Get out!" cries the shocked priest.
Next stop is a Southern Baptist church where the seeker is told he would have to learn Bible verses, swear belief in the Nicene and Apostles' creeds, swear off booze, and be baptized ("By immersion, not just some sissy sprinklin'"). The Baptist preacher then, to see how much this man knows, asks him where Jesus was born.
"
Our perplexed protagonist finally walks into a Unitarian church where he is told all he has to do is sign a membership card. "You mean I don't have to renounce anything, swear to anything, or be dunked in anything?" "That's right. We have no special tests for membership, no dogma. We support total individual freedom of belief."
"Then I'll join! But tell me--where was Jesus born?"
"Why,
The man's face lights up. "I knew it was some place in
